Forest Open Day Well Attended
27 September 2010
Aigas Community Forest held a Forest Open Day on Sunday 27th September. Local residents were invited to come along and learn more about access to the Forest and have the opportunity to go on a walk led by the head ranger of Aigas Field Centre. Between 25 and 30 people attended aged from 5 to 80 and all undertook a 3-4 mile circuit combining the main forest road with less well-known footpaths. With some of the best weather of the month so far a great afternoon was had by all.
